Polish rabbinic scholar. He was born in Danzig and served as dayyan in Vilna from 1794 to 1812. His Hayye Adam (Human Life) and Hokhmat Adam (Human Wisdom) contain succinct presen-tations of parts of the Shulhan Arukh.
